MKC Heroes at the Plymouth City Youth Council.

Emily-Rose and Madison, two of our Ambassadors represented MKC Heroes at the Plymouth City Youth Council on January 16th 2018. They asked Council to consider a motion to improve the lives of military and emergency services children, and their friends, who may be affected by mental health issues due to the dangerous jobs their family members undertake.  They noted the challenges of young people who worry about the safety of their family member, the impact this can have on their lives and the lives of those around them.

This motion was one of 17 considered by Council. It was voted in by the whole Council and will be addressed during the current Council timeframe. The Ambassadors group will be  asking you for your views and support to lead this motion at Council so watch this space!
