Heroes  from Plymouth on a visit to the Royal Citadel. This included the opportunity for us to ask lots of questions.

We even asked about the food. The soldiers told us our school dinners are probably better than their meals but we didn’t believe them.

These are not just any binoculars; these are very special military ones – we could see for miles. It was easy to scramble under the net but we are much smaller than the soldiers.

‘Get your ‘air cut!’ was the command…even the girls! Goodness! The marching was fun and some of us had a go at giving orders. You need a really loud voice and should sound angry.

BFBS TV came along and Poppy gave an interview for all of us. You can see it on the Forces TV site.

We all had the chance to try out our aim down at he firing range. The soldiers were there to help us.

We all had a brilliant time and want to say a big THANK YOU to 29 Commando Royal Artillery for making the day so special.
