Door of Unity Service in Plymouth Minster.

Young people from Plymouth MKC Heroes represented us at the Door of Unity Service in Plymouth Minster.
The service remembers the lives of American sailors lost
in a war with England in the early eighteen hundreds.
An officer and a midshipman were killed during a sea battle. English officers buried them, with honours, in the Minster church, to recognise their bravery.
The service is a symbol of our friendship with America that continues today.

Chloe, Megan and Bethan laid wreaths on behalf of MKC and the children of Plymouth and Alan and Lewis carried their standards with pride.
